Denna saga fick aldrig något riktigt slut.

Surviving is not for me

She stared at him, her eyes wide and watery of fear. Her throat and mind speakless, while he was cold and icy emotionless as ever. Snow draped all pinetrees surrounding them, covered the ground and their shoes in its cold thickness. The sky was purest blue. The sun was shining, strikingly bright and made his eyes gleam hot red. He dared her by not giving in as she began to cling to his black suit.
"Please!" She cried desperatly. "I don't want to. Please, please. "
But he ignored her pleaing. In that moment, he blankley turned away his head to gaze at the setting sun in the east. She pulled at his arms, shook him hard why he resisted with an amount of pure stubborness. All of those tears dripping down her cheeks could not reach through to him, or so it seemed in her eyes.
"I can't..." Her voice failed her, smooth yet faint. All the strenght inside her diminshed rapidly. Her fists could no longer hold on to him, and her legs gave after. The world rhymed in echo as she handlessly began to lose height. Then she felt him, how his presence followed her to the ground, into the snow.
"Leave me, so I can die" , she begged of him. They looked into each others eyes. He could only deny her wish, or he would have to follow her down that road as well. It was nothing he even considered.
So with a deep solemn voice he spoke to her, "Not until someone tears your head off your body. There's no other way for you to die. I don't want you to die."
"You want me to suffer", she said dryly, and his answer to that was to bluntly pull her up on her feet.
"You have to do what you are told, and so must I", he replied with an sharp edge to his voice.
Again her eyes filled up with salty tears, but there was no hint of understanding in his features. Against her wish he forced her to go with him back to their campsite . Her body ached more than ever.

"She looks awfully weak", Aro said as he came to join him where he stood alone in silence. Darkness crept around the corner, only light to guide their senses came from within for the moon was not present this night. His eyebrows furrowed in annoyance, though masked in confusion and Aro took the bait silently.
"I understand how you must feel." Aro gave him a smile supposed to be comforting. "But we are going to war, and without her we can't win. "
"I am losing her", he hissed bitterly and sent Aro a stony glare. "She might die days before the battle."
Aro chuckled. "That is out of question, my dear friend. Her will to survive is alot stronger than her will to die. I am surprised this came to escape your acute senses."
More annoyance grew on him, and it came to show in his face.  "I didn't. She has begged me several times to-"
"Kill her", Aro interrupted, at his surprise.
     "Yes."
Aro gave him a serious look. "I can't blame you for feeling torn, however, your task is to keep her alive and to make sure she does what she is supposed to on the day of battle.  If she dies, you failed and it will come with great consquenses for us all."
